This Veterans Day, we reflect on the past year and the effect that the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’ had on so many of our current and past military personnel. Proud to Serve—explores LGBT Veteran’s relationship to the military, and paints a portrait of a community that passionately supported freedom and equality at all cost. These veterans stand unafraid, united, and supported in this amazing photo display. Previously exhibited at the NY LGBT Center in Manhattan as well as the Q Center in Portland, these prints are now proudly on display for the entire month of November. Take some time to visit the Center’s Art Gallery in room 301 this Veterans Day and celebrate the lives of our LGBT Veterans.
